Job description
Responsibilities: Mentor and Lead a team of super talented designer to deliver the best Ecommerce shopping experience. Champion a design led culture across the design organization. Lead creative and holistic design thinking across different Ecommerce touchpoints and functions. Define a UX strategy in accordance with the organization goals, product vision and help deliver those goals in an evolutionary and iterative manner. Drive user research to create detailed user journeys and flows to engage design decisions that are in line with user behaviors. Build strong relationships with product, technology and business stakeholders to deliver on goals. Be responsible for and effectively advocate for consumers and internal users in all forums across Business product and technology. Learn and Understand nuances that exist with shopping and delivering online and translate them into day to day experiences. Be an advocate and respected voice for all things Design inside and outside the company Be the face of the design team in all engagements.
Desired Skills And Requirements: 8+ years of experience in digital product design with consumer product , preferably in the SAAS industry. Proven track record as people leader, hiring, building and leading high performing design teams. Experience in driving long term vision, design strategy and design thinking across an organization. Experience integrating user research and design using both qualitative and quantitative data An entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment Ability to think structurally end to end, balancing short term business needs with long term goals. Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence cross functional stakeholders. Experience in working with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and PMs to deliver a holistic design experience. Ability to present and influence CXO level decision makers. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Illustrator, etc. Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the design field.Job tags
