Key Responsibilities

- Management

- Quality/HSE

Performs discipline check and Inter-discipline check of documents.

Ensures that the required integrity and quality of the work is maintained.

Familiar with the Quality/HSE Management system and their procedures.

Ensures timely corrective actions for the identified non-conformities.

2.3

- Project Execution

• Preparation/issue of Inspection and Test Plan.
• Technical inputs to MR preparation.
• Preparation of Project specific Quality procedures.
• Co-ordination with concerned disciplines for QAQC activities.
• Vendor offer review for QC/Inspection requirements for Equipments, Piping bulk, Valves, etc.
• To conduct Pre-Inspection Meeting at Vendor's shop.
• Review of Vendor's Quality Management System/ Certification.
• Vendor document review/approval.
• Preparation of PO wise Tentative Inspection Schedule & Maintain the same progressively.
• To monitor the Inspection Man-days and to maintain/update the Inspection Status for the Project.
• Co-ordination of inspections at Vendor's shop.
• Inspection & Expediting at Vendor's shop.
• Review of Inspection reports & the Final documentation.
• Approval/Issue of Inspection Release Note and to provide dispatch clearance.
• Co-ordination with site QAQC.
• Monitoring Man-hour consumption & Inspection cost.

Job Requirements

4.1

Language:

Good command on spoken and written English

4.2

Education:

Bachelors' degree &/or Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering

4.3

Professional Experience:

8-15 years as QAQC Engineer. Minimum 2-year experience of working on EPC/EPCM projects in Oil/Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical & Fertilizer industries.

4.4

Key Competencies

(Functional)

• Work experience in executing EPC/EPCM projects
• AWS or CSWIP certification
• NDE Level - II as per ASNT SNT-TC-1A
• ISO 9001 certification will be an added advantage.
