Position: Student recruitment specialist for a Canadian public university Location: Delhi/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore Joining Date: Immediate

Job description Student recruitment specialist will achieve student enrolment goals for their assigned institution (Canadian post-secondary institution). They will accomplish this by developing and marketing the programs to clients across India. The role will focus on brand enablement of the assigned institution in India through agent partners, academic partners and direct channels to meet the recruitment targets. The role will also work closely with the respective institutional partner for joint activities in local markets, providing market insight and intelligence.

Responsibilities Responsible for achievement of student enrolment targets in an assigned market. Represent the assigned institution at exhibitions and recruitment events. Be the institutional / brand subject matter expert. Identify product specific opportunities for focused student recruitment in assigned market. Creation and execution of country/region specific sales plans. Accountable for brand development activities in market (delivering product training across sales channels). Coordinate institutional partners’ in-market visits and institution-sought market insights. Drive internal processes required to successfully meet targets. Budget control. Align with the Company mission, vision, values, and strategy and ensure they are translated into action through performance goals, communication and feedback processes.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 3-5 years of experience in international education, product sales and marketing ideally through multiple channels (agency and direct sales). Fluency in English A commercially savvy specialist with a track record in delivering results. Experience in executing conversion and sales strategies. Experience identifying a customer’s business drivers and influencing their buying behaviour in line with a customer value proposition. Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges/opportunities within this industry. Relationship builder and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization both internally and externally. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Result orientated with the ability to successfully deliver on sales, financial and customer satisfaction outcomes. Good business and commercial acumen, analytical and quantitative ability. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrated ability to work in a team environment proactively and effectively. Professional maturity and enthusiasm.
