Overview:
The IT Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue for the organization through selling IT solutions to businesses. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships understanding customer needs and effectively communicating how the companys products or services can meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Understand and align IT solutions to address client business challenges
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts and agreements
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure solutions meet client requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the organization
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
- Utilize CRM systems to manage leads opportunities and client interactions
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns
- Stay updated on product knowledge and continuously enhance selling skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
- Proven track record in IT sales with at least 23 years of experience
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of IT products services and solutions
- Excellent negotiation and sales closing skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information to nontechnical clients
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management
- Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong focus on results
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
- Strong business acumen and market awareness
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
