Practice Area Profile
What You'll Do
As a part of BCG's X Delivery team, you will be responsible for accelerating a growth business focused on BCG Software and AI Products / Projects which are used as client leave-behinds. You will nurture and build a strong team and create a positive culture within the organization. You are an inspiring leader, trusted by clients and partners of the firm. You will manage a global business with clients, partners, and team members. You will work closely with consulting teams on a diverse range of advanced topics and will have the opportunity to leverage Engineering expertise to deliver value to BCG's Consulting & X (case) teams, X Product teams and Practice Areas (domain).
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Strategy:
- Create/redefine and own service offerings for BCG products and projects, ensure these offerings are periodically benchmarked with best industry players, and lead efforts on continuous improvement and customer delight.
- Influencing and serving as a key decision maker in X.build technology selection & strategy
- Build necessary network in various forums to spread awareness, ensure BCG pitches / proposals include support services where needed to stay compliant.
- Participate in BCG internal forums to educate allied teams like Legal, Infrastructure, Security, Pricing, Commercial Excellence etc. on BCG X. build offerings, and influence policy making on Software Build and Delivery.
- Part of Global X Delivery Leadership team, partake in policy making and implementation.
- Build and sustain long term relations with MDPs and regional heads through high stakeholder satisfaction and promote cross referrals.
Operations:
- Act as an advisor/expert in Software Build, Delivery spaces, partake in RFPs, pitches/proposals, and client meeting to help BCG case teams winning cases.
- Target and deliver defined NCCs (Net Client Charges) with structured sales funnel / pipeline management of projects and products globally.
- Lead / participate in Steering Committee meetings with BCG case teams and end clients
- Lead / manage end client check ins to demonstrate high service levels, and client champions feel supported by BCG at all times.
- Continuous monitoring and course correcting of Business KPIs like response times, resolution times, user adoption, team billability, utilization, including client satisfaction and NPS.
- Act as an escalation point for MDPs, clients and case teams, ensure necessary stakeholders (including team members) feel supported and you are vested to find a solution which is amenable and amicable.
- Act as a conduit between the Build and BCG Case Teams to make sure business process, dependencies and impact is clearly understood, and it translates into prioritization.
- Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen including P/L management to achieve targeted topline and bottom line, working closely with Finance teams on managing costs and revenues.
People, Vendor and Hub Support:
- Attract, recruit, and retain best in class talent across Software Engineering and Data Engineering in a global construct.
- Build and manage specialized development squads mapped to cluster of BCG Practice Areas for increased affinity and faster onboarding of projects.
- Set clear goals for the team, squads, and individual team members, ensure each member is supported through their learning journeys and set up for success make sure High potential talent are timely recognized and rewarded.
- Developing a motivated a team, focusing on their professional development and leadership skills plus project delivery
- Constantly monitor and maintain KPIs on Time to fill, time to productivity, attrition, succession and redundancy.
- Identify and maintain pool of specialized vendors to help with capacity as needed, you should be able to evaluate, conduct negotiations and sustain a healthy relationship.
- Be part of and support hub / office level team activities, act as a senior leader at the hub to motivate people across different teams, conduct trainings, provide mentorship to upcoming leaders, and drive hub level initiatives like DE&I, BCG Readiness etc.
- Collaborate with other leaders within and across regions to drive BCG X / Delivery strengthening initiatives as needed.
- Demonstrate servant leadership to ensure team members feel heard and supported.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science engineering/technology or equivalent
- 17+ years of overall experience and at least 8 years in managing software products/services organization.
- Proven commercial experience in building sales pipeline and managing progression Key client account development experience would be valued.
- Managerial experience in leading a 3-tiered team of managers, leads and engineers.
- Building and managing a large cross functional team with strong background in Software Build and Delivery.
- Additional preferred skills/ experience in Product Development / Management - preferably in AI ad ML products. #LI-MK5
