Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepares and submits underwriting and submission packages for bonds and letters of credit with review and guidance from Treasury and Risk Management leadership.
- Prepares daily cash reconciliation activities.
- Reviews and drives improvements in cash management
- Ensure collections and billings are in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Forecasts, monitors, and tracks cash flow (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.).
- Works with Project Managers, Program Financial Operations and Contracts Department to accurately forecast timing and amount of future cash flows over the next two years.
- Prepares and submits requests for endorsements, modifications and change orders to existing bonds and coordinate issuance through delivery.
- Ensures appropriate accounting and payment of financial instruments and policy invoices.
- Liaison with Contracts/Finance to maintain and update monthly and quarterly reports for distribution to internal and external parties
- Obtains, prepares and provides underwriting demographic information and other data for application and renewal of insurance policies for submission to Insurance Broker.
- Analyzes and executes on the global hedging activities as directed by leadership to mitigate exposure to significant foreign exchange risk, including:
- Prepares monthly evaluation of changes to forecasted currency exposures and execution on any necessary changes to the hedging strategy to maintain hedging effectiveness
- Evaluates exposures to new projects and recommend to treasury leadership
- Supports training Project Managers and Project Finance personnel on how to properly identify currency exposures and report on exposure changes to projects.
- Executes transactions of foreign currencies for distribution to foreign suppliers and field sites or upon receipt from customers. Adjusts corresponding foreign currency hedge positions as directed.
- Creates and maintains management reports needed to support Treasury and Risk Management
- Prepare Quarterly review of project hedging effectiveness testing for Treasury Manager
- Maintain and support treasury systems to help monitor and trade currencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements: - Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in business administration, finance or accounting or minimum four years working experience.
- Experience in property and casualty insurance and surety bonds or foreign exchange a plus.
- Handle complex data and present effectively to management.
- Financial Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting, Planning experience with emphasis on Cash Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Team player that can adapt to cross-functional work. Ability to prioritize work.
- Enjoys supporting software administration and implementation.
