Position : Quantity Surveyor
Location : Trichy
Job Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing costs and budgets of projects ensuring that the construction project is completed within its projected budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings engineering estimates materials required and labor involved.
- Work on value engineering and life cycle costing to reduce costs and improve value for money.
- Manage and administer the contracts and agreements with the parties involved in the construction project.
- Identify potential financial or construction risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and costeffective sourcing of materials and services.
- Manage and evaluate claims related to extensions of time loss and expense and ensure they are in accordance with the contract.
- Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
- Coordinate and liaise with construction professionals such as site managers project managers and site engineers.
- Regularly update on the financial status of projects prepare and present detailed reports on project progress and budgets.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Engineering Management or a related field.
- Professional accreditation from a recognized institution (e.g. RICS or equivalent).

Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems. Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
