Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Mangalore Minerals Pvt Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in our manufacturing facility. Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and recommend and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, and order replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
