Job description
As a Project Manager in New Product Development (Innovation) within the FMCG industry, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating planning workshops to define project scope and align stakeholders. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial in serving as the primary driver of projects, assuming the role of Project Leader as required. Demonstrating expertise in Risk Management and Risk Assessment, you will be responsible for preparing project updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships effectively will be key responsibilities, along with identifying project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Utilizing advanced MS Project skills for project planning and scheduling management, you will apply knowledge of concepts like Critical Path, Crashing, and Float to develop project plans. Prioritizing milestone identification and Critical Path analysis, you will ideally have experience in New Product Development within FMCG or related industries, with Supply Chain experience being advantageous.
Overall, the role requires a seasoned Project Management Professional with 5 to 15 years of project management experience, preferably PMP certified. You must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including listening, emotional intelligence, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Experience in the pharma sector is desirable, along with the ability to prepare case studies and demonstrate continuous improvement (CI).
