Job description

Tools & Automation lead

Experience: 7+ Years

Location -Bangalore

SCCM Administration

  • Configure and maintain SCCM servers, including primary sites, secondary sites, and distribution points.
  • Monitor SCCM infrastructure health and performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Plan and implement SCCM updates, service packs, and hotfixes.
  • Manage SCCM site hierarchy, boundary groups, and content distribution settings.
  • Design, create, and manage software packages, applications, and task sequences for software deployment.
  • Implement automated patch management processes to ensure timely and secure updates across the organization's endpoints.
  • Create and manage OS deployment task sequences for installing and configuring operating systems on endpoints.
  • Maintain OS images and driver packages for different hardware models.
  • Experience with WMI, SQL, CMPivot,PowerShell
  • Ensure application compatibility and troubleshoot issues related to deployment.
  • Configure and enforce compliance settings for endpoints, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards and security policies.
  • Generate reports on SCCM usage, compliance status, software inventory, and hardware inventory.
  • Diagnose and resolve SCCM-related issues, both independently and by collaborating with other IT teams.

Manage Nexthink

  • Experience with WMI, SQL, CMPivot,PowerShell,NXQL(Nexthink Query Language)
  • Install, configure, and maintain the Nexthink platform to monitor end-user experience and IT operations.
  • Collaborate with End User teams to define and implement Nexthink use cases to enhance user productivity and IT efficiency.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security of the Nexthink environment.
  • Design and generate customized reports and dashboards to provide insights into IT performance and end-user experience.
  • History of data analysis and drive to actionable insights and automation
  • Experience over transformation projects.
  • Extensive technical knowledge on end user computing
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Nexthink platform and integrations.
  • Keep up to date with Nexthink updates, features, and best practices

BMC Discovery Knowledge

  • Proven experience as a BMC Discovery Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of BMC Discovery architecture, configuration, and data collection methods.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management concepts and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing data collection.
  • BMC Certified Administrator for BMC Discovery certification is a plus.

Experience with Power BI

ITIL certification & ITSM process knowledge

Relevant Technical Certifications

Good to have: Knowledge of BMC orchestrator, Manage Engine ap/opmanager products etc. , Automation technologies.
