Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - PowerShell, lean FT, desktop testing
We are seeking a lead consultant with expertise in PowerShell, LeanFT (Lean Functional Testing), and desktop testing to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality assurance and possess strong technical skills to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with clients to understand their software testing requirements, objectives, and constraints.
· Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using PowerShell and LeanFT to validate desktop applications' functionality and performance.
· Conduct manual testing activities, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
· Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
· Implement and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and libraries to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including mentoring junior testers and sharing best practices.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing methodologies to enhance testing processes and practices.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications we seek in you!
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on desktop applications.
· Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for test automation and system administration tasks.
· Hands-on experience with LeanFT (Lean Functional Testing) or similar functional testing tools for desktop applications.
· Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Preferred qualifications
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and relevant technologies are a plus.
