Job description
Should have knowledge on selection / calculations for the electrical design aspects including: Selection of motor and starters based on pump specifications Preparation of power distribution network with all components from source to end consumer Consumer load calculations Selection of breakers (ACBs and MCBs) based on type of consumers Selection/ calculation of cables based on type of load. Should have technical and application based knowledge on DC sources (batteries) and distribution networks (Source to consumer). Ability to understand EMI/EMC requirements. Proficiency in MS office and Autocad is essential. Knowledge/ experience of working in 3D CAD-PLM environment is preferable. Shall possess adequate communication skills for interacting with different groups, Interpersonal Skills, Problem Solving & Creativity Broad responsibilities: Prepare design documents for underwater platform under the guidance of Naval officers. Shall be working with a team of Senior Design engineers, and CAD assistants, under Naval design officers and Team Leaders. Preparation of System design documents, Calculation documents for Submarine. Management of design data and workflows towards finalization of design in CAD-PLM environment
