Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance evaluations and Identify the current competencies of each associate and provide training and development in required skill areas
- Promote teamwork and responsiveness of individuals in their areas of responsibility through support and coaching.
- Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, capacity planning and analysis to identify potential opportunities for improving Customer Experience
- Responsible for leading, coaching, and developing associates
- Processing monetary and non-monetary transactions for assigned for Pension/Mutual Fund clients. Includes Contributions, Fund changes, Indicative data files and manual adjustments, Rollovers etc.
- Ensures all items are processed andor resolved in a time. Supports business in ensuring positive audit results
- Complies with all client policies, procedures, and Federal/State/Local regulations and escalates issues to the Work Leader andor Manager.
- Perform research on all processing irregularities and drive issues to resolution
- Interact with the internal and external clients to streamline processing and ease plan administration for our clients.
- Updates plan specific procedures periodically. Train back up associates
- Resolve issues over the phone with external business partners
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Fund change team, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of deliverables
- Review productivity and quality of individuals within the team. Re-evaluate and adjust standards as the business grows and changes. Define new productivity standards to accommodate business changes
- Create, establish, and maintain daily and monthly operational metrics
- Identify issuesbottlenecks that prevent hinder the organization in providing the best-in-class customer experience, escalate them appropriately and collaborate with Clients and internal partners to fix those issues
- Helps develop and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
- Knowing VBA/Macro is a plus
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- CMA qualified and CA inter qualification is preferred.
- Min 8+ years if relevant work experience required in DB/DC Fund accounting.
