Job description

• You need to build and lead a high performing diverse team considering a multi-cultural environment
• You will be managing the deliverables with high energy
• You will Inspire and motivate teams and individuals for greater achievements
• You will be to work closely with global Powertrain teams to establish a long-term plan for Powertrain Bangalore
• You will be a part of Powertrain Management team and work for future development of powertrain Bangalore team
• You will represent Powertrain Engineering in various cross functional forums locally as well as globally
• Your responsibility is to lead the group and manage deliveries in start cost, maintenance, and advanced engineering projects
• You will be responsible for complete QDCCF of the projects getting delivered from powertrain side
• You need to lead and drive roadmaps for technology
• You are also expected to drive change by continuously driving for a Lean engineering setup

Required qualifications for the position:

• Masters/bachelors in mechanical/electrical equivalent Engineering domains

• Good understanding of the Values and the Cultural dimensions
  Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership roles
• Powertrain Engineering leadership experience will be an added advantage
  
• Experience in Coaching and developing the team, cross-functional leadership, communication, and people skills
  
• Experience in areas of Activity Planning, Budget estimates and Work force strategy preparations
  
• Experience in powertrain hardware development
  
• Excellent knowledge of the markets and applications in India and Asia
• Lead Agile way of working and JIRA implementation
  
• Worked on development for sustainability (material choice, circularity and lifecycle impact)
  
• Handled Product diversity reduction activities
• Demonstrated and launched initiatives towards Customer-centricity
  
• Driven Digital transformation in your work areas (data management, data analytics, simulation, AI, innovation, digital twins, IoT)
  
• Driven Continuous improvement of ways of working with a focus on simplification
