Job description
Ceragon is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the IT Security team for monitoring our systems and evaluating threats as they arise.
A Cybersecurity Analyst s responsibilities include reviewing SIEM and security system s alerts, identifying potential vulnerabilities and documenting detections so that future breaches can be mitigated efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the SIEM and other monitoring systems system: Use it and be the first focal point to the SIEM/SOC service
- Monitor and analyze Phishing alerts
- Escalate alerts to CISO when necessary
- A member on any incident response team
- Document incident investigation summaries
- Write and test monitoring rules. This goes for best practice and ad-hoc requests
Job Requirements - Proven (minimum 2years) work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
- Experience in information security
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field is preferred
- Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Formal cyber security certifications
