Job description

Harcept IT Services employs a growing team of IT professionals. We are looking to hire a skilled desktop support engineer to assist our clients with software issues. You will be required assist with installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, and IT-related issue

WHO WE WANT TO HIRE

To ensure success as a desktop support engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of home and office systems, should be familiar with backups, history in security, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ü Responding to client support requests.

ü Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem.

ü Connecting client via a remote link.

ü Troubleshooting software issues.

ü Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.

ü Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.

ü Advising on software or upgrades.

ü  Completing job reports and ordering supplies .

ü  Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner

ü  Respond to customer issues via phone, email and computer chat

ü  Document customer interactions

ü  Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues

ü  Escalate issues as per escalation SOPs.
