Job description

We are currently hiring for a VP Sales position for a well funded B2B tech startup based in Chennai.

Responsibilities-

• Take charge of leading rapid expansion targets to meet formidable revenue goals

• Analyze data, stay on top of market trends, and make informed decisions that will keep us ahead of the curve

• Report on sales performance, provide valuable insights, and identify areas for improvement to the CEO and other executives

• Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the sales team.

• Identify and nurture relationships with strategic customers to land strategic deals for the company.

• Create a roadmap to achieve multi-fold growth in ARR, detailing initiatives, timelines, and resources.

• Create Sales playbooks for optimizing sales processes with best practices and technology for efficiency.

• Recruit, train and manage a team of high performing Account Managers

• Facilitate and drive performance management processes

• Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams to support roadmap activity

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending events, reviewing publications and participating in professional societies

Requirements-

• 15+ years of overall experience in sales, sales operations, or growth-focused roles

• Experience is scaling inside sales teams would be ideal.

• Extensive sales management experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets, across B2B technology-driven products/SaaS companies

• Unstoppable leadership skills and a passion for inspiring and managing sales teams

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that will help you connect with customers and partners

• A deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies that will make you a master of your craft

• An analytical mind that can make data-driven decisions and keep us on the cutting edge
