Position:  Junior Architect/Conservation Architect 

Experience: 1- 3 years (in conservation)

Responsibilities:

1. Documentation, condition mapping and assessment of heritage properties
2. Preparing working drawings and tender documents
3. Preparing conservation plans, overseeing ongoing restoration and conservation projects
4. Collaborate with architects, historians, and engineers to ensure high-quality conservation outcomes.
5. Research and write reports and proposals.
6. Maintain documentation and records of projects, research materials etc.
7. Prepare BoQ/estimates.
8. Attend meetings with or without the team head.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, with specialisation in heritage conservation
2. Minimum of 1 year experience in heritage conservation or related field
3. Excellent knowledge of architectural history, construction materials, and conservation techniques
4. Experience in handling restoration and conservation projects.
5. Proficient with software like AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, any rendering software & Microsoft Office
6. Openness to travel to locations within and outside Mumbai.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Proficient with heritage laws, regulations, and principles in India and abroad
9. Ability to work independently and with a team.
10. Fluent in verbal and written English
11. Knowledge of the local language is a plus.
