Quest: Debating Society is the official debating society of Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur, founded in the late 1960s. It is one of the oldest debating societies in the state of Odisha and attracts renowned educationists, professors and civil servants who have been a part of the society during their tenure in the university.

Role Description

This is an internship role for an Assistant at Quest: Debating Society. The Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks, such as organizing events, managing social media accounts, creating marketing materials, and assisting coaches, in an on-site role located in Sambalpur. There will also be opportunities to participate in debates and other activities in the society.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Social Media platforms
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Prior experience in event management or marketing is a plus
• Experience or interest in debating or public speaking is preferred
• Bachelor's or pursuing Bachelor's degree in any field
