Specialist, Corporate Actuary
Gurgaon, Haryana, India

Analysts work in teams with other actuaries, financial reporting analysts and actuarial IT teams to deliver pricing, reserving and actuarial risk analytics analysis results. Actuarial Analyst has the opportunity to support or develop cutting-edge analyses, strategies and solutions addressing the wide range of actuarial risks and/or issues facing XL.

DISCOVERyour opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include

. Risk Analytics including development of analytical tools, analysis of insurance risk, regulatory capital modelling activities and general support for any risk analytics in the company.

. Candidate is expected to work on multiple analytics projects within the P&C-Central Pricing Team.

. Facilitate pricing analytics development to produce valuable underwriting insights.

. Rating Assessment including portfolio evaluation, tracking of price metrics and development of pricing tools.

. Responsible for Policies and Procedures to ensure that Core Pricing Metrics for the Insurance Segment are complete and reliable.

. Facilitate the development of central analytical tools, analysis of insurance risk and general support for any risk analytics in the company.

. Coordinating with different teams for data provisioning to support planning exercises.

. Understanding business problems and translating business information into dynamic and effective reports or dashboards to generate meaningful business insights.

. Analyze and apply technical information to practical situations, and assess opportunities for improvement.

SHARE your talent
We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

. Undergraduate degree and at least 5-6 Exams.

. Graduate/Post Graduate and at least 10 Exams from the Institute of Actuaries of India/ Institute of Actuaries, UK or at least 5 CAS Exams.

. Advanced mathematical/financial/statistical aptitude.

. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

. Outstanding computer application skills, specifically Excel, Access and Visual Basic Applications.

. Working knowledge of actuarial pricing software is preferred.

. Keen attention to detail.

. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
