Job description
Job objective In order to support the implementation of global IT standards & strategies within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) department we need an DevOps Engineer who will help us in creating, operating and improving interface and self-service solutions linked to our Digital Core platform Siemens Teamcenter.
Vocational training / profession: Engineer with university degree software engineering computer science Language skills: English (Fluent) (German would be a plus) Job-related experience: · 3+ years of agile development and testing experience (ideally Java or Python) · 3+ years configuration of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. with Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus) · Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and their tooling ecosystems · Familiarity with Git and JIRA (or similar task management tool) · Linux and bash scripting experience · Knowledge of interface patterns and experience in Interface development with latest technologies and standards (e.g. REST APIs, JSON) is a plus Additional knowledge/skill/experience: · You have intrinsic motivation to develop secure and high-quality applications · You develop with a mindset for operational impact · Continuous learning attitude and courage to fail fast is a way of gaining knowledge for you · Good and pro-active communication in and between cross-functional teams goes without saying for you · You think information sharing is key to successful remote collaboration · You love bringing value to your customers · Automation and continuous improvement of processes is a driving force for you Tasks / area of responsibility Provision, maintenance and monitoring of APIs linked to Teamcenter and product data flows Monitoring and improvement of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) architecture and routines Development and test (automation) of technical increments in the context of PLM project needs Software architect support regarding preparation of artifacts within Teamcenter release (management) cycle Close collaboration with team members in different time zones Responsible for Incident- and Problem-Management, especially in your time zone Location: Faridabad Perks : Medical Benefits, 5 days workingJob tags
