Position: Database Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. The Database Administrator will ensure the performance, security, and integrity of our databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Development of high-quality database solutions.
· Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures (SP) and views using T-SQL.
· Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
· Develop scripts for ETL and data transformation on MySQL.
· Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
· Manage resources on Azure & AWS cloud infrastructure.
· Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
· Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
· Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
· Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· Knowledge of Azure & AWS cloud services and MySQL is mandatory.
· Cloud certification is preferred.
· Familiarity with database design, normalization, and data modeling.
· Good knowledge of running SQL scripts and managing SQL servers
· Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQLNewSQL databases
· Knowledge of NoSQL will be an added advantage.
· Good quantitative aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Team player
· Good time-management skills
· Great interpersonal and communication skills
