Job description
Overview: Hexagon is seeking a talented and passionate Quality Analyst (QA) to work for Desktop/Web based Application. Closely work with the PO ,Development during the design phase of the new implementation and should be able to guide the team regarding the End User workflows in the respective application. Should be able to work with the team to ensure the deliverables are well tested by working with the QA counterparts and stakeholders during the update (frequent releases) and major release to provide the needful assistance. You will have to collaborate with multiple teams having different work style. This role is heavily dependent upon process and timely communication . Teamwork, a strong work ethic, innovative thinking, and problem solving with rigor and procedure are all essential. Skills Required: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or similar educational qualification. Should be team player, good communication skills, work with overseas counterparts. Should have working knowledge of 2-3 years of experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Should be able to understand the User stories and create exhaustive Test cases to ensure the functionality is robust. Understand and Follow QA process (Scrum) and ensure minimal bugs/issues are reported by the QA once the implementation is done. Should be able to create the test suites using Microsoft technologies and ensure maximum automation is achieved by simplifying the test cases. Test and verify the fixes and new implementations provided by the development team in a timely fashion. Contribute to the QA team/Scrum Master/Manager on prioritizing the backlog. Work with the QA team members and other counter parts on the release testing. Should report the issues during the testing to the QA manager\stakeholders in a timely fashion. Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills. Good knowledge\experience of 3D Design Tools (ex: Smart3D, AVEVA PDMS, AUTOCAD, CADWorx etc.,) will be an added advantage. Basic knowledge on programming (C#, .NET etc.,) will be added advantage. Collaborate with the SDET and/or contribute to creation of the ATPs and improve the automation coverage for the workflows.
