Job description

The position is with one of the growing global tech companies situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan

The SEO Developer will be responsible for optimizing our web content, ensuring high visibility on search engines, and implementing SEO best practices across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles, technical proficiency in web development, and the ability to analyze and improve website performance metrics. The SEO Developer will collaborate closely with content creators, web designers, and marketing teams to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic to our websites.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and trends.
   
2. Implement on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, headers, and internal linking structures.
   
3. Optimize website content for target keywords and user experience, ensuring readability and relevance.
   
4. Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.
   
5. Identify technical SEO issues and provide recommendations for improvement, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data markup.
   
6. Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO enhancements and ensure website compatibility across different browsers and devices.
   
7. Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies in SEO and digital marketing.
   
8. Generate regular reports on SEO performance metrics, including keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates.
   
9. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the search landscape.
   
10. Work closely with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content strategies and optimize existing content for search engines.
    
11. Provide SEO training and support to internal teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and guidelines.
    

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.
   
2. Proven experience as an SEO Developer or similar role, with a minimum of 1 year in SEO-focused web development.
   
3. In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools.
   
4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
   
5. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
   
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
   
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
   
8. Experience with A/B testing, website optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
   
9. Google Analytics and Google Search Console certification is preferred.
   
10. Demonstrated portfolio of successful SEO projects and measurable results.
