Job description
As a Solution Architect, you will be the primary technical resource responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing complex IT solutions within our organization. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our technology solutions align with our business objectives and meet the highest technical standards. Your responsibilities will include expertise in the following technology stacks:

Solution Design and Architecture:
- Designing solutions using cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture with technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Selecting and implementing relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET) and frameworks.
- Knowledge of modern frontend technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge in AI/ML solutions would be beneficial.
- Knowledge in record-keeping software like Relius will be an added advantage.
Integration and Interoperability:
- Developing RESTful APIs using frameworks like .NET Core, Spring Boot or Express.js.
- Implementing message brokers, such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, for asynchronous communication.
- Leveraging API gateways and service mesh technologies, such as Istio or Kong.
Database and Data Management:
- Designing and optimizing databases using relational databases (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Implementing data warehousing and analytics solutions with technologies like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery.
- Expertise in DB migration tasks.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensuring security best practices using tools like OWASP Top Ten and implementing security protocols, including OAuth2 and JWT.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
DevOps and CI/CD:
- Implementing DevOps practices with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Infra-level architecture designing
- Building and deploying containerized applications using Docker.
- Orchestrating containers with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
Development and Testing:
- Collaborating with development teams and driving best practices in coding and testing.
- Utilizing testing frameworks and tools, including JUnit, Selenium, or Postman.
Continuous Improvement:
- Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance technical architecture.
- Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies, such as serverless computing and GraphQL.
In this technical role, your expertise in these technology stacks will be essential in guiding the technical direction of our projects, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability and security of our solutions.
