Job description
Responsible for assigned accounts by establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Develop and maintain key account plans for assigned customers. Deliver on annual volumes, sales and profitability targets for assigned customers.
Identify new opportunities with existing customers and work with internal teams to commercialize these opportunities. Implement and manage customer-related commercialization projects.
Actively work on and build a funnel of new projects for next 2 - 3 years with assigned customers. Work with the Reg Commercial team to determine and provide pricing offers to assigned customers.
Develop annual contract (including clear pricing agreements) with assigned customers and track progress against the contract. Provide accurate forecast of future sales and volumes.
Deliver prompt and optimal service to customers and address concerns in partnership with the Customer Care and Supply Chain teams!
Keep abreast of and share competitor and market activity and highlight potential market opportunities.
You bring
Bachelor s degree in food technology or Agricultural Engineering. Sales / Account Management experience in food/nutraceutical industry of 5 - 8 years
Experience in sales in rice value chain or agronomy will be preferred. Experience in Food fortification will be an added advantage.
Experience in dealing with Govt organizations & NGOs. Experience in Govt tender management.
Ability to do value / solution selling with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Knowledge of industry and markets, good know-how about products and/or applications
Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Proficiency in English, Hindi & Southern languages is a must. Demonstrates clear problem-solving skills, ability to work and navigate successfully within matrix organization
Cope with strict deadlines and to set priorities accordingly Fluent in English, both written and oral
