Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EVS Teacher with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, India. As an EVS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Environmental Studies to primary and secondary school students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience as an EVS Teacher or a similar role
- Subject matter expertise in Environmental Studies
- Strong passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the welfare and development of students
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and teaching methods
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create lesson plans and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Environmental Studies to primary and secondary school students
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and methods to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through quizzes, assignments, and exams
- Nurture a positive learning environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students
- Promote and foster environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on students' academic performance and behavioral development
- Participate in professional development activities and stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and educational trends
