Position Overview:
Seeking a Program Manager for MBBS Study Abroad Programs, responsible for the comprehensive oversight of international medical education initiatives.
Required: profound knowledge of the medical sector, international education protocols, and proven program management skills, Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of study abroad programs, from their development and implementation to providing support to students and maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
Applicants must have 5+ years' experience in educational program management, preferably in the medical field.
Responsibilities:
Program Development: Craft and refine medical study abroad programs, aligning them with academic needs and global standards. Partner with institutions and healthcare bodies to set clear objectives.
Student Engagement: Drive recruitment of aspiring medical students, guiding them through a selective process that matches their ambitions with program goals.
Partnerships: Forge robust links with global medical schools and educational organizations, streamlining course credit approvals and academic integrity.
Logistics: Ensure seamless travel, accommodation, and support for all participants, collaborating with trusted partners for a secure experience.
Stakeholder Relations: Build connections with healthcare providers for clinical placements, and navigate regulations with governmental and accrediting agencies.
Cultural Integration: Encourage cultural understanding and activities to enrich the study abroad journey, fostering an inclusive environment.
Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, prioritize fiscal responsibility, and deliver detailed financial insights, maintaining program sustainability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degrees in education, international relations, or medicine preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, ideally within international education focusing on MBBS.
Deep understanding of medical education standards, accreditation processes, and global study abroad trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement across diverse cultures.
Demonstrated leadership in motivating teams within a multicultural setting.
Proficiency in using program management software and tools.
