Chief Financial Officer for a leading VFX & Television Company in Chennai
Please send your resume if the JD matches your profile Designation: Chief Financial Officer Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant Experience: 10-20yrs Location: Chennai Salary: 25-30 Lacs (Negotiable depending on the yrs of experience) Qualifications and Experience: · Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. · A minimum of 15 years (7-8yrsof Post Qualification Experience) of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles. · Proven track record in managing international cash flow, taxation, and fundraising activities. · Experience in a listed company and thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance for publicly traded entities. · Strong leadership and team management skills. Position Overview: As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company. Leveraging your 15-plus years of experience, along with your Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, you will lead the financial strategy, international cash flow management, taxation, fund raising initiatives, and business development efforts. Key Responsibilities: Financial Leadership: · Provide strategic financial direction to the executive team and board, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making. · Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. International Cash Flow and Taxation: · Manage and optimize international cash flow operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. · Lead the development and implementation of global tax strategies, ensuring compliance with international regulations. Fundraising and Capital Management: · Develop and execute capital raising strategies, including debt and equity financing, to support the company's growth initiatives. · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding for strategic projects and expansion plans. Business Strategy and Cost Profit Analysis: · Drive the development and execution of financial strategies that align with business goals and market dynamics. · Conduct in-depth cost-profit analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement. Financial Reporting and Compliance: · Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and international accounting standards. · Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to maintain a robust internal control environment.
