What You'll Do
Solution Design and Development:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
- Design and develop ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, and workflows based on business requirements.
- Customize and extend the functionality of the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other technologies.
Integration - Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems, applications, and external tools.
- Design and implement data integrations, web services, and RESTful APIs.
Platform Configuration - Configure and maintain core ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and more.
- Define and enforce ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
Automation - Develop and implement automation scripts and business rules to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Create and maintain ServiceNow workflows for automating IT and business processes.
Testing And Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and customizations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance.
Documentation - Document technical designs, specifications, and implementation details.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
User Training And Support - Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk to address and resolve user-reported issues.
What We Are Looking For - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development in ServiceNow ITSM/ITAM (SAM/HAM)
- In-depth understanding of the Discovery Process and ServiceNow ITOM.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular, React, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST and associated frameworks.
- Expertise in integrating systems using SOAP, REST, JSON and/or JDBC file imports.
- Familiarity with industry standard frameworks such as ITIL.
- Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills. Passion for software development
- High energy and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Solid understanding and experience with agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
