As the
Practice Head – Analytics amp; Data Science , you will play a pivotal role in driving our data initiatives. Your expertise will shape our organizational culture, foster collaboration, and elevate our data and analytics capabilities. While your primary base will be in Hyderabad, your influence will span globally.
Responsibilities - Modeling Techniques and Validation:
- Apply advanced modeling techniques to build, test, and validate basic models using diverse datasets.
- Ensure rigorous testing and validation procedures to enhance model accuracy and reliability.
- Model Performance Review:
- Collaborate with data science teams to review model performance against established metrics.
- Document findings and insights, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Regularly report on model effectiveness to stakeholders.
- Data Excellence and Documentation:
- Oversee end-to-end data processes, from data acquisition to visualization.
- Champion data quality, governance, and compliance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to identify strategic business opportunities and drive actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to understand their needs and align data solutions accordingly.
- Communicate effectively, ensuring transparency and buy-in for data-driven initiatives.
- Innovation and Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and data science.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics).
- Proven experience of 12+ years in applying modeling techniques and validating models.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership experience in managing data science teams is a plus.
Location : 17th floor, Manjeera Trinity Corporate, JNTU-Hitech City Road, Hyderabad
Work Environment - Work Type: Hybrid (3:2); 5-day Work Week
- Shift Timings: Day Shift (9.30 AM to 6.30 PM)
