Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Executive to join our team at SMOOR Chocolates. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing generating capex PO, processing payments, accounting for capex invoices, and keeping track of all lounges, and factory assets.
Should have basic knowledge of accounting - Purchase bill processing, PO processing.
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, recording payments, and resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledgers, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance filings
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Stay up to date with accounting regulations and best practices
