The Medtronic Engineering and Innovation Centre (MEIC) was established in Hyderabad, India in June 2011. The center was established to expand its R&D footprint in the Emerging markets whilst supporting global R&D efforts. MEIC conducts advanced engineering R&D and product development work for the global operating units in the areas of design, analysis, hardware, software development, and testing while developing capabilities for future product development.

A Day in the Life
Designs, implements and executes human resources strategies for business and functional groups in partnership with Human Resources Director for MEIC, India to:
To enhance technical capabilities at MEIC and engineer MEIC as a Technical Talent Destination
Build an inclusive and inspiring workplace aligning with Medtronic's IDE strategy to sustain MEIC as a great place to work.
Build an efficient organization design to continue focus on capability and accountability as MEIC continue to grow and diversify
Partners with Leaders/ HR COEs/ HR Shared Services to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objective and proactively resolves HR and business issues. Provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle management.
Work with the HR Director to anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.
Responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison in key projects.
Must Have
Degree in Human Resources Management from an recognized institution
Minimum 12-14 years of progressive experience in HR with 4+ years in leading an Site HR/ Business HR role
Expereince in leading organsiational level HR Projects in a global matrix organization
Prior experience inleading employee engagement and complex problem solving (demonstrated analytical thinking)
Ability to partner with Leaders to understand the business needs and drive effective business outcomes
