Why this job matters

The Migrations team is a new function introduced to provide focus and a centre of excellence to technical migrations. In particular, to accelerate the migration of customers onto strategic tech by end FY27 across all target journeys and products.

This team will bring scale, accelerating the move of customers to strategic journeys and portfolio and remove technical barriers to this transformation. This is critical to investing in the future: enabling reduced cost to serve, uplift in colleague and customer satisfaction, revenue and customers on strategic tech and support legacy switch off.

What you’ll be doing

• Define and deliver the migration of customer and products from legacy to strategic IT stack

• Define the customer migrations experience

• Negotiate migration strategy with CFU and define migration approach.

• Understand desired outcomes and define best technical solution to deliver the requirements and optimise cost–benefit, delivery timescales and whole l life costs

• Undertake migration scenario and playbook consideration.

• Design pertinent solutions to accelerate migrations and remove blockers.

• Identify migration opportunities.

• Tease our approach and art of the possible

• Collaborate with Business on Transformation and Product/Journey Tribes

• Build up the playbooks
