JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience and possess strong skills in accounting software such as Tally, along with proficiency in handling vouchers, payments, GST, TDS (Tax Deduction at Source), and other financial transactions.
Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software, primarily Tally.
- Process invoices, bills, vouchers, and payments in a timely manner.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Handle GST-related tasks including filing returns, maintaining compliance, and resolving any issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax deduction at source (TDS) as per applicable laws.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance and provide recommendations accordingly.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant with 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Tally.
- Strong understanding of voucher management, payment processing, GST, TDS, and other financial transactions.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Professional certification such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the [industry or sector].
- Familiarity with other accounting software apart from Tally.
