Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Consultant with expertise in Power BI to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 - 4 years of experience in Power BI development and will be responsible for leading our US-based team in delivering exceptional Power BI solutions to our clients. This role requires strong technical proficiency, project management skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with our US team members and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Power BI developers located in the US, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with our US-based clients to understand their business requirements, gather insights, and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of Power BI projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, project managers, business analysts, and other team members.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in Power BI development, including report and dashboard design, data modeling, and optimization.
- Conduct regular meetings with the US team to track project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their Power BI skills, foster collaboration, and promote continuous learning and development.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver integrated solutions and drive business impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 - 4 years of experience in Power BI development, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, data visualization best practices, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience working with US-based clients and managing remote teams across different time zones.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and build strong client relationships.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including scope management, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights and solutions.
- Certification in Power BI or related technologies is a plus.
