Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our marketing team. The Content Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and SEO optimised content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Content Creation: - Produce well-researched, informative, and engaging content for our website, blog, social media platforms, and other marketing materials. - Develop content that is tailored to our target audience and aligns with our marketing strategy. 2. SEO Optimisation: - Conduct keyword research to optimise content for search engines. - Ensure that all content is SEO-friendly and helps improve our online visibility. 3. Content Planning: - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and plan content marketing campaigns. - Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas that align with our brand and marketing goals. 4. Editing and Proofreading: - Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy. - Ensure all content is free from plagiarism and adheres to our brand guidelines. 5. Market Research: - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' content to identify opportunities for improvement. - Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of content and make recommendations for improvements. 6. Collaboration: - Work closely with designers, videographers, and other team members to create multimedia content. - Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for content creation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role. - Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Strong knowledge of SEO and content optimisation techniques. - Proficiency in using content management systems (e.g., WordPress). - Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution. - Creativity and the ability to generate unique content ideas. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality content. - Portfolio of previous work showcasing diverse writing styles and formats.
