Job Description

To carry out the theoretical investigation of the aspects of quantum entanglement in the context of Topological Quantum Field Theory. This project will require analytic and numerical calculations using computational software like Mathematica and related packages.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Junior Research Fellow. The Junior Research Fellow will work on a SERB-sponsored research project in the Physics department of Central University of Rajasthan .

Location

Department of Physics, Central University of Rajasthan. The Central University of Rajasthan was established in February 2009 by an Act of Parliament, the Central Universities Act 2009. The university campus is in Bandarsindri, Kishangarh, about 80 km from Jaipur.

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics with minimum 60% marks.
• Candidate must have a valid NET-JRF/GATE/JEST/NET

Desirable Qualifications/Experiences

• Specialization in Quantum Physics and Mathematical Physics is expected
• Working knowledge of computations in Mathematica is highly desirable
• Aptitude for analytic calculations and numerical programming
• Strong commitment and motivation to pursue research in the subject area
