Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Delivery Manager to lead our delivery management team within the IT organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, managing client relationships, and driving continuous improvement within the delivery function.

Key Requirements:

Project Oversight:

• Provide leadership and direction to project managers and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and resources effectively.

Client Engagement:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements and expectations.
• Foster strong client relationships, addressing concerns and facilitating issue resolution.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers and delivery professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the delivery management team.

Project Planning and Resource Allocation:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Ensure effective resource management and allocation to meet project demands.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to verify compliance with organizational standards.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery management function.
• Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.

Reporting and Metrics:

• Establish and maintain project metrics and reporting mechanisms.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and key performance indicators.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and objectives.
• Conduct regular status meetings and reviews with project teams and stakeholders.

Project Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar leadership role within IT.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in client-facing roles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
