Job Description:

As a Lab Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and research goals of the college. You will be responsible for assisting faculty and students in laboratory activities, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist faculty and students in laboratory activities
• Prepare laboratory materials, solutions, and reagents
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment
• Monitor and ensure the safe use of laboratory equipment and materials
• Maintain laboratory records and inventory
• Assist in the preparation of research reports
• Ensure a safe and efficient working environment in the laboratory
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Science or bachelor of pharmacy or related fields
• Experience in laboratory work is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and protocols
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficient in using computers and basic software applications
