As a part of Maintenance- MMC Team , Responsible for All material Issue , Binning, storage , preservation, physical stock discrepancy, obsolesces, timely Renewal of all ARC, Procurement planning of preservation & storage materials storage infrastructure development, System development and Automation, legal compliances for catalyst, Chemical & cylinders in covered shed & in open yards
Head - MMC Lead - MMC Are Manager – Issue Material custody & Inventory Management Responsibilities Activities QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Material Issue & Binning
- Responsible for timely issue & Binning of catalyst , chemical , cylinders category of materials as per Batch management & Shelf life criteria
- Controlling all SAP MM & WMS transactions related to issue and Binning
- Controlling all documentation related to Issue and binning
- Monitoring all open transaction regularly
Storage & Preservation
- Responsible for proper storage of material as per type and nature & compatibility criteria.
- Regular review Material storage conditions
- Ensure shelf life and expiry of catalyst and chemical are notified to users on regular basis
- Plan procurement of Preservation material
- Responsible for completion of General preservation activities as per schedule
- Monitoring all Material handling activities.
- Develop storage infrastructure. Control material spoilage and obsolesces & its write off
System automation Explore automation possibility of Manual process
HSEF & Housekeeping
- Proper Records and display of MSDS for all chemicals
- Identify opportunities for enhancing HSEQ performance
- Maintain all HSEF compliances in all activities and carry out in completely safe manner.
- Control the HSEF deviation to zero level during the complete process
- Maintain good housekeeping in all storage sheds and open yards
- Regular Tool box talk for handling of hazardous chemicals and gas cylinders
Co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders. Co-ordination with various internal departments, external transporters, vendors, etc.
Audit and compliances
- Ensure full compliances as per PESO Gas cylinder rule 2016
- Ensure full legal compliances like stamping of lifting / handling tools and tackles./ weigh bridge
- Ensure all compliances of Financial, IFSC and all external audit recommendations
- Continuously monitor and upgrade SOP's related to material receipt, secondary sales and OGP process
Team work and Management To lead a team and be able to develop and mentor team members
OHSMS HSEF - Care & Welfare: To achieve a safe and healthy work place.
Authority: To stop any unsafe job
Review of Safety Audit observations and firm up the course of actions for rectification
Based on recommendations of the Safety audit reports, incident reports & root cause analysis, Initiate plant change modifications to improve safety in operations
Monitor compliance with the controls
Identify opportunities for enhancing HSEQ performance
Ensure that all legal obligations are fulfilled within due time limits.
ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 'Systems, Policies & Procedures: To be accountable for implementation and improvement of the EMS systems, procedures & policies in respective functional operations. To ensure adherence to the all health, safety, and environment systems during all process activities
General awareness on Environment Management in Refinery Operations
Implementation of environment management procedures like Hazardous / Non Hazardous waste management.

- Timely Binning & issue of Materials for prompt issue to Requisitioners to avoid production losses on FEFO basis
- Ensure that timely action are initiate before the shelf life expiry of al Catalyst , chemical & Gas cylinders
- Timey availability of material at its location for prompt issue
- Timely completion of preservation activity to avoid losses on account of spoilage and obsolesces
- 100 % Availability of material handling equipment
- Timely closing all transaction to avoid stock shortage and excess discrepancies.

- Lead the team of 2 company staff and 10-15 contractual and agency staff, and 2 material handling equipment operators
- SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Diploma( Chemical / Mechanical ) with min 13-15 years of Experience
- B. E ( Chemical / Mechanical ) with min 12-14 years of Experience
OR - Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the field of Material issue , custody , Gas cylinder hadling, Catalyst & chemical m Preservation cycle count , Material handling . Inventory Management, enriched knowledge of SAP – MM & WMS Transcations
- Functional Skills:
- Good knowledge of all warehouse transaction related to Material Issue, custody, storage , binning, preservation, cycle count
- Hand on experience for carrying our all SAP - MM & WMS Transactions.
- Good Knowledge of Manpower handling and Equipment handling
- Enriched knowledge of Material preservation and Upkeep
- Sufficient knowledge of inventory management and monitoring
