Company and Organisation Profile:
Vinmar Business Services is a shared services center of the Vinmar Group, a global petrochemical marketing and distribution business. The company’s head office is in Houston, Texas and it has a global footprint.
Position:
The position reports to the Group Internal Auditor and supports in conducting audits and reviews across all Vinmar entities, globally. Key responsibilities include:
- Support entity level audit assignments by conducting preliminary testing and sampling as per the audit plan
- Conduct field work related to audits/ reviews - onsite and off-site, as required in remote/ virual modes.
- Maintain appropriate documentation to support coverage of areas, the conclusions drawn and issues reported, as per audit standards
- Accurate presentation of facts based on Audit Evidence and effective drafting of audit and other reports
- Preparing / updating the audit processes and documentation along with Audit checklists for all audit assignments and projects
- Follow up with Auditees for implementation of agreed action plans
Required experience, skills and knowledge:
- Initiative driven individual with strong understanding of Internal audit and business structures
- Strong analytical and auditing skills, with ability to research and provide specific solutions to complex problems
- 1 - 3 years of hands-on audit Experience with a systems focus. Candidates with understanding of supply chain and international trade will be given preference
- Exposure to SAP will be an advantage
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks, detail oriented and organized in work; ability to meet assigned deadlines;
Required Education and other Qualifications:
•Bachelor or advanced degree in Accounting;
•Mandatory pass results in either of:
- Intermediate exam of ICAI – Institute of chartered accountants of India
- Certified Internal auditor conducted by the IIA
•Proficient with computers and applications; Microsoft Office – word, excel and powerpoint. Exposure to SAP and other ERPs is desirable.
