Role: Sales Director, Digital Product Engineering Sales for US Market
Reporting Manager : Vice President, Digital Product Engineering Services Sales (Based in the U.S.)
Candidate Residence / Work Location: Brigade Tech Park, Whitefield-Bengaluru
Customer Sales Region: US
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling one or more of the following End-to-End Digital Product Engineering Services for the U.S. Market. Prospects and customers would belong to one or more of the following verticals: Edutech, e-Commerce, Travel, Hospitality, HiTech, Transportation, Energy/Process, Industrial.
- Responsible to grow the Digital footprint within the Transportation, Energy/Process, Industrial verticals.
- Digital PES Services will include:
- Cloud Services / Solutions, Application Development, Full Stack Development, DevOps, Mobile Apps Development, Analytics, Testing, Automation Services
- AI/ML/Data: Custom Analytics Products, Data Engineering, Governance and Pipelining, Data Lake development and re-architecture, DataOps, MLOps.
- End-to-End Sales Leadership and account management
- Work with 3+ Inside Sales Executives (i.e., Lead Generators) based in Bengaluru.
- Develop / Implement strategic and operational sales plan.
- Primary focus on new logo hunting
- Create pipeline of high-value accounts
- Focus will be on new customer acquisition and winning long-term strategic customers.
- Build, sustain and maintain long term relationship with key and strategic customers.
- Lead and coordinate with technical teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Drive focused campaigns.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree (Engineering preferred); Additional MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 14-16 Years total Experience
- 7+ Years US Sales experience
- Years experience working and/or studying in US (strongly preferred)
Domain Knowledge: Digital Product Engineering Services and AI/ML/Data Services
Vertical Experience: One or more of the following verticals – BFSI, ISVs, Edutech, HiTech, Travel and Hospitality, Transportation, Industrial and Oil&Gas
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage junior salespeople.
- Price and contract negotiation and closure
- Attending and prospecting in trade shows and other networking events, whenever necessary
- Capability to have a CXO and Digital leadership level conversation.
- Capability to have high impact conversation and give suggestions on outsourcing process to the customer.
- Capability to set buying criteria and develop coaches in large deals.
- Should have experience of remotely managing teams by driving, motivating and mentoring them.
- Thorough understanding of dual shore business model and related win themes and value propositions
- Must have hunting experience in acquiring new blue-chip customers.
- Very comfortable communicating / selling with customers in US.
- Proven track record in winning long-term strategic deals
