About Us

We are India's largest revenue-based financing platform that is expanding to cross border commerce.

Our journey

We currently have more than 500+ brands in our investment portfolio and are building a cross border commerce platform to help brands scale globally. We work with the brands like The Man Company, Soulflower, BoldCare, Mars, Saturn, Chemist at Play, Bare Anatomy, etc. for their UAE and Saudi expansion.

We raised $2 mn at an idea-stage in December 2019 from Sequoia Capital's Surge program, and marquee investors like Naveen Tewari (InMobi Group), Kunal Shah (CRED), Shradha Sharma (YourStory) and many more. Post our beta launch 36 months ago, the company has grown leaps and bounds: 1000+ investments made; portfolio companies include beloved brands like Blusmart, Bluestone, Chumbak, Smytten, Bewakoof, Third Wave Coffee, The Man Company, etc. We have raised $20 mn in August 2021 from GMO (Japan), Alter Global (USA) and others

Role And Responsibilities

  • In this position, your primary role involves facilitating Business Development and contributing to the sustained growth and expansion of the company. Your responsibilities include identifying potential consumer brands, contacting them and explaining Klub's proposition. You will also be accountable for creating comprehensive proposals encompassing commercial terms and operational implications for each partnership agreement.
  • You will be part of the business development efforts, engage with top-level executive and help them to expand their brand in the international market
  • Hire a team and train them to run the business development function smoothly.
  • Build SOPs for function and optimise existing processes.
  • This is a client facing role and is expected to talk to multiple founders on a daily basis, explain the proposition, negotiate commercials and sign agreements with them.
  • Your role will have some exposure by working with the logistics, supply chain, account management and the growth team.
  • Act as the company's representative at industry events, participating in activations, consumer engagement, partner interactions, speaker sessions, and more.
  • Research and identify new brands and categories suitable for onboarding.

What Are We Looking For

  • 3-5 years of full-time experience in business development or partnerships, preferably within a platform/e-commerce marketplaces.
  • A proven track record of liaising with consumer brands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
