Job description
Minimum 7+ years Database administration experience.
Primary skills: Understanding customer DB SQL server landscape Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods. Installing and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022) Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting. Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure Conforming to client compliances and expectations Perform Pre-migration, cutover and post migration activities Secondary Skills: Identify Automation opportunities Post migration validation test results Break-fix Support Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell scriptJob tags
