Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer 3, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and leading our AWS infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, particularly in AWS cloud environments, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Ansible, and Python scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure.
Develop Terraform code, configurations, and modules from scratch to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Manage Kubernetes clusters, particularly EKS, to orchestrate containerized applications.
Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance the CI/CD pipeline.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
9+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Proven experience in architecting and leading AWS environments.
Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS.
Solid understanding of Ansible for configuration management.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation tasks.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
