Job Summary:
As the Digital Marketing Director at Poppulo, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing our digital marketing strategy. Reporting to the VP of Demand Generation, you will drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through comprehensive digital campaigns.
As an expert in your field, you will lead the enhancement of our digital channels through continuous development and optimisation of our digital presence including user experience (UX), owned channels, and paid media advertising. You will interact and collaborate with senior partners and our GTM functions, with significant exposure across the organization. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a talented team and make a significant impact on our company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy Leadership
- Develop and execute a robust digital marketing strategy, aligned with overall business objectives
- Secure feedback and endorsement from key stakeholders and be able to revise plans based on business priorities
- Ensure execution certainty – drive status reporting, identify risks, assess options and mitigate said risks, and supervise initiative progress
- Act as a champion of digital innovation and drive best practice processes, tools, and systems across all digital campaigns
Customer Acquisition:
- Lead customer acquisition campaigns, optimizing performance across various digital channels to drive pipeline growth.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, Social, and other digital channels to maximize lead and demand generation.
- Partner on delivery of the most effective digital campaigns to influence outbound and strategic account campaigns - optimizing conversion rates throughout the funnel to maximize ROI and improve CPA and CPO
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze data and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and report on key KPIs across channels and campaigns.
- Use insights to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement of marketing activity.
- Ensure company goals are being met through KPIs and reporting on progress to the wider marketing team and company as a whole
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Facilitate development conversations and plans, encouraging team to identify career goals and areas for growth
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in digital marketing, preferably within a mid-market to Enterprise SAAS company
- Proven track record of success in a similar role within the SAAS industry
- 5+ years leading digital marketing teams and driving digital marketing strategy
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital channels
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools, Google Analytics, and CRM systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to inform decision-making and ability to present information in a data driven format to inform stakeholders
- Excellent leadership with a proven ability to recruit, build, and mentor high-performing global teams, creating an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration and positivity
- Experience working with digital agencies
- Capable of managing a broad range of strategic marketing activities, working with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferrable
