Technical Requirements
Hands on experience in managing Netapp FAS and HCI models
Good working experience in Ontap C-Mode and 7 mode administration
Expert level skills in troubleshooting and administrating ISCSI, FCP, CIFS, NFS, NDMP protocols
Experience in configuration and troubleshooting NDMB backups, Snap shot, Snap mirror, Snap vault , Snap Drive, Snap manager, SMVI and Snap center
Experience in planning and migrating 7-modet to C-mode and other third party storage arrays to Netapp, Vol migration etc..
Expert skills in Storage Performance fine tuning, Availability, Reporting and Capacity Management.
Experience risk, issue and impact assessment
Ability to provide RCA
Explore new technologies and provide POC
Good knowledge on Best practices for storage administration, projects and migration strategies.
Expert skill on Migration and DR tools ( 7 MTTI, Power pathpath migration enabler, Recover Point, IBM SVC etc )
Hands on working knowledge on FC SAN Switches, creating zones & fabric management.
Knowledge VSAN or Virtual fabric configurations
Hands on experience on FC SAN Switches, Manage fibre switches/directors from Cisco & Brocade (Zoning / VSANs / FCIP / ISL setup )
Good knowledge on multi path administration for Virtual Machines, Windows OS & UNIX OS.
Good working knowledge on storage virtualization.
Train Level1 and Level 2 Support engineers
Conducting periodic Training and update the team to latest technology
Level 2 administration skills in EMC enterprise and midrange storage arrays
Basic scripting knowledge
Basic administration skills in Nutanix
Other Skills / Experience
Automation and scripting skills are added advantage
Experience in administrating EMC enterprise and midrange storage is required
Experience in training new team members
Working Knowledge on Remedy or any other ticketing client
Should know ITIL process
Experience with Storage Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
Other Storage skill set will be an Added advantage.
Years of Experience
Total : 6-8 Years of relevant IT experience
Relevant : Minimum of 4-6 yrs. in Storage and NetApp NAS Administration / Support (1.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (2.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (3.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives. (4.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
