Job description

Title: SAP Project Manager - Pune

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Pune (with availability for international travel)

 

Overview:

We are actively seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and manage SAP implementation projects, with a focus on the University of Leeds Data Migration Project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP project management, a deep understanding of SAP technologies, and a track record of successful project deliveries. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate technical teams, engage stakeholders, and ensure the timely and successful execution of SAP projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Accountability:
    • Provide overall leadership and accountability for SAP implementation projects.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and internal project teams.
  2. Project Management:
    • Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
    • Oversee specific workstreams, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring project milestones are met.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage stakeholders at various levels, including client representatives, technical teams, and leadership.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
  4. Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks.
    • Develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary.
  5. Strategic Planning:
    • Align technical deliverables with program goals and client expectations.
    • Contribute to the development of technology roadmaps and solution architectures.
  6. Resource Coordination:
    • Coordinate with technical teams, including S/4 HANA experts, data migration consultants, and analysts.
    • Ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet project objectives.
  7. Reporting:
    • Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting on project progress.
    • Provide detailed updates on milestones, challenges, and upcoming activities.
  8. Client Satisfaction:
    • Actively address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with the Account Director to align project activities with the clients strategic goals.
