Job description
The candidate for this position is responsible for new products development, studies the cycle time, validates the process and handing over to the production team.
Education Qualification: BE Mech/ Automobile/ Production Industry Experience: Ideal candidate for this position should be from Transmission (Gearbox, Axle) Manufacturing Industry. Experience: 4 to 8 years. Key Activities & Expectations: Prepare detail manufacturing technical feasibility based on provided customer drawing. Prepare sheet for Item code creation, BOM & Routing based on bill of material. Prepare APQP documents in line with PPAP requirement. Prepare process FMEA, PFD and process wise control plans & other necessary technical documents for manufacturing parts. Prepare list of tooling’s, fixtures & gauges based on customer drawing. Identify and visit to suppliers for development of machining parts, brought out Jig/Fixtures, measurement facilities and special tools for used for manufacturing. Implement corrective & preventive actions based on customer complaints, feedback, and internal quality inputs. Taking corrective and preventive action (necessary changes in processes) based on QA analysis and evaluation of NC product. Subcontract parts operational follow-up, process feasibility, inspection capability of supplier to be validate. Plan, improve and stabilize process capability during proto development. Identify, plan and execute cost reduction projects/Process Improvement Projects/ Safety related projects as per budget allocation. Plan, prepare, review and establish shop floor planning as per existing machine load capacity. Execution of shop floor activities related to machining processes on daily basis. Key Deliverables & Technical Skills Required: Good Knowledge about APQP Process. (IATF 16949) Good Knowledge of gear cutting process Good Knowledge of heat treatment process Process documentation - able to make FMEA, Process sheets, Control Plan, Work instructions Good Communication & Analytical Skill CAPA /8D Analysis Tooling selection – for Gear & Other Machining Operations Fixture Concept design in 2D drawing Auto Cad 3D modellingJob tags
